Nestled up on the hill with exquisite views over the New Lake nature reserve, is our recently refurbished and converted Boat (known as “The Larry McQuaid”).
With its own En Suite shower room, cooking facilities and viewing deck, the Boat has to be one of the quirkiest Glamping options you are likely to find.
The Boat is PET FRIENDLY (charges apply) and all linen and fresh towels are supplied.
On the bow of the trawler, you will find your own BBQ facilities and up on the viewing deck, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of Horn Head, the New Lake Nature Reserve and Tory Island. Perfect for enjoying Donegal’s famous fiery sunsets.

To preserve the peace and tranquillity our guests appreciate, we operate a strict 10.30 pm curfew across the site where all communal and outdoor social areas will close and must be vacated.
Group BOOKINGS During THE SUMMEr
Please be aware we do not accept groups of 8+ guests / 4+ units or more guests during July & August, unless by special arrangement.
The property is, however, available for exclusive hire year-round, so if you are keen to put together a group getaway, please contact our reservations team, as we have a variety of options available.
