You can enhace your stay with our comprehensive list of third party suppliers (includes private chefs, caterers, musicians etc.) and our team would be delighted to organise activities for your group to enjoy during your stay.

Millhouse (Sleeps 30)

Our 19th-century Mill House was completely rebuilt in 2000, using its three remaining walls as a foundation and incorporating authentic, antique finishes to create the "quirky" old-world charm that our guests love.

The house features its very own wine bar, a large kitchen, a spacious lounge, and a dining room. With 10 guest bedrooms, it can comfortably sleep up to 30 people, making it an ideal venue for family gatherings, retreats, birthday parties, and get-togethers with friends.

The Millhouse is available for:

Exclusive / Private Hire (unstaffed): October to May
Non-Exclusive / Serviced Hire (staffed)*: June & September
The Millhouse is not available for group hire during the months of July or August, unless it is parf of a FULL SITE hire (Please contact us for if you would like more information on our full site hire)

Please note that all weekend bookings are subject to a 2-night minimum stay, and Bank Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum stay. Long-stay discounts are already included in the nightly rates.

*Serviced Hire includes exclusive use of all 10 guest rooms in the Millhouse and lounge area. Breakfast for up to 20 guests is included in the rate, with additional breakfasts available for purchase. However, please note that the main reception, winebar and dining room within the Millhouse will remain open to other guests.

RAILWAY CARRIAGE (Sleeps 16)

The beautiful 150-year-old mahogany railway carriage was meticulously restored and rebuilt in the late 1990s. It now accommodates up to 16 people across five sleeping cabins: two with double beds and three with twin bunk beds. All bed linen is included.

The Railway Lounge, adjacent to the carriage, features a self-catering kitchen, a dining area, and a cozy sitting room with an open fire. Each sleeping compartment is equipped with a washbasin, and there are toilets and showers located at either end of the carriage.

The carriage is available for Private Hire from March to June / September to November each year. It is not available for private hire in July or August.
