Our experience here was truly wonderful. We spent two full months in this beautiful and peaceful place in the north of Donegal. The entire property is surrounded by nature, and there are so many breathtaking places nearby to visit.
The team was incredibly welcoming and supportive from the very first day, making us feel completely at home. We are deeply grateful to everyone for the kindness and generosity they showed us ... Although the work kept us busy, we always had our days off together ... which gave us the chance to rest, recharge, and explore many beautiful places in the surrounding area.
Siubhan and Ciaran are two very dedicated and hard working individuals who care deeply about their work, family, and the well-being of both their staff and guests. We are truly grateful to them for their generosity and hospitality. They were, without a doubt, the best hosts we could have asked for ... We have truly left a part of our hearts in this wonderful place, and we will truly miss it.
We definitely recommend this place 100%!

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR SEASONAL STAFF:

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic self-starters who are strong communicators, enjoy working with others and like to provide a good service to our guests. Our seasonal staff must have a strong work ethic and must be able to work independently and confident in dealing with issues as and when they arise.

Our seasonal staff are an integral part of the experience, from both the team and the guests' perspective. Our seasonal staff become members of the family, and we all work hard as a team, to make the summer a very special experience for all our guess and staff alike.

Our successful seasonal staff will typically therefore exhibit the following characthereistics:

- Self-starters, personable, friendly, hard-working and punctual - true team players!

- Responsible and trustworthy - this is so important as there is an 'on-call' element to all our seasonal roles;

- Happy to manage their own workload in an efficient and effective manner - they see what needs to be done and get one with it with minimal supervision

- Warm and welcoming - this is also very important, as all our seasonal staff are key to creating a great guest experience, regardless of their role on site.

- Happy to multi-task! Every day is different, so our most successful seasonal staff have typically been individuals and couples who like to get stuck in - they enjoy variety in their work and can turn their hands to anything!

We had the pleasure to spend our summer here, for 2 and a half months. We fell in love with Donegal and this area is especially unique. During our time here, we explored many places ... It’s a very good location to reach many excellent places nearby easily by foot, busses or hitchhiking. The area was so amazing and beautiful that we were really sad to leave ... As Vegans, we had no problem finding alternatives both at restaurants and grocery stores ... We were part of a very supportive team who we could rely on and trust. Everyone was so kind, friendly and welcoming! We really enjoyed working here as we had different positions and tasks, so the job was never boring! We grew a lot professionally and learn many new things. Thank you so much Siubhán & Ciaran!

We absolutely loved our 2 months at the mill! From the beginning we felt so welcomed by Siubhán, Ciaran, and the whole team. The staff were super friendly and always offered us rides. The friends we made were the highlight of our experience and we miss everyone already!

We appreciated how accommodating Siubhán was in the type of work and amount of hours we did. Her communication was excellent; always kind, honest, and responsive. Siubhán and Ciaran both went of their way to make our experience the best it could be.

The property is beautiful!! The surrounding area has lots to do - some highlights were Tramore beach, Tory island, and Glenveagh park. Dunfanaghy is a cute town and we loved grabbing a pint at Patsy Dan’s with a pizza from The Rusty Oven next door.

Thanks again so much to the whole team for making our summer such an excellent one. Lots of love to you all and we hope to cross paths again one day!
