The Sunday Times Ireland’s 100 Best Places to Stay 2026

We’re pleased to share that Corcreggan Mill has been named one of The Sunday Times Ireland’s “10 Best Value Places to Stay” for 2026.

This category recognises places that combine character, comfort and flexibility with strong value — something we’ve always aimed to offer at Corcreggan.

Set along Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way, Corcreggan Mill offers a more relaxed way to stay — whether that’s in a self-catered apartment, our restored railway carriage, or a summer night under canvas. It’s a place where guests can slow down and spend time together, in their own way.

The Sunday Times described Corcreggan as a place that “has it all” — from apartments and bell tents to motorhome spaces and our 150-year-old railway carriage — with options to suit a wide range of stays.

At its core, Corcreggan is about simplicity — a welcoming atmosphere, space to unwind, and the freedom to make the place your own.

We’re proud to be included in this year’s guide alongside many outstanding destinations across Ireland.

We would also like to congratulate the other Donegal businesses featured — Breac.House, Rathmullan House and The Olde Glen — all of which continue to showcase the strength of hospitality in the region.

Thank you to Domhnall O’Donoghue and The Sunday Times Travel Editors, and to our guests and team who make Corcreggan what it is.

We look forward to welcoming you!
