   Investment Oportunity.

Since 1991 the Brendan had hoped to attract potential investors or partners who would understand the ethos of the property and who would bring capital and/or skills that would help to realise the full potential of the existing businesses and allow for the further development of the remainder of the site (see map below).

Brendan then considered selling some, or all, of the property in one or more stages,  retaining a smaller percentage as a sleeping partner, if appropriate.

On 01 July 2007, the Carriage and Kiln House (the eastern part of B2 and marked Hostel on the map, below) and its associated car park, was sold to Desmond Donnellan who continues to operate that part of the business as a backpackers hostel.

Now, in 2010, Brendan has reduced the asking price of the Mill House by 33.3% to €800,000. A potential buyer with a deposit of €400,000 will be offered a 20-year, no-interest mortgage on the balance. That buyer will then be offered first option on the sites with full planning permission for 4, Gallerus-style, stone cottages as well as the Mill Cottage, if required.
